Blake Lively Interview with Vogue on Her Met Gala Dress

American actress and Style icon, Blake Lively made a statement during her interview with Vogue that her Met Gala red carpet dress has taken 600 hours to make and it’s not done. She made her debut on the Met Gala red carpet in 2008 in a Ralph Lauren feathered strapless black gown and since then her fans and followers have always waited for the style icon to step up again in this year Met Gala.

However, there have also been anticipations and speculations about what style and design the actress would bring to the red carpet this time around, but she said “This year’s may be my favorite dress ever,” the actress told Vogue at Barneys pop-up event for Tod’s. “They’ve already worked on it for 600 hours, and it’s not done.”


The actress and style icon who was named as the new face of Gucci Fragrance in 2012 and also the new face of L’Oreal. She further said that the beading on her dress will be made by jewelry designer and close friend Lorraine Schwartz and for the shoes, she is turning to Christian Louboutin. She further told Women’s Wear Daily that: “They’re making something custom for it. So it’s kind of nice because I have a bunch of artists around me who I have direct relationships with.” In recent times, she has always sparkled the Met Gala red carpet with beaded design dresses that always made fans love her sense of fashion. Last year, she wore a gold Atelier Versace curve-hugging dress topped off with a blue and turquoise feathered train.
